Eastern Area Rectifier Maintenance
Held at the Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland, Ohio, USA

Rectifier Troubleshooting and Maintenance Class
November 15-16, 2011

This class will give students an understanding of rectifier fundamentals, safety concerns with potential injuries and non-electrical hazards, rectifier troubleshooting including component breakdown, failure, and testing techniques, and hands-on testing of silicon diodes and modules. The class with end with application of troubleshooting techniques on simulated cathodic rectifier installations.

Instructor C.M. Nelson is currently the vice president of JA Electronics Manufacturing Company. He is responsible for engineering, design, and manufacturing of rectifiers, junction boxes, test station, specialty equipment, and related corrosion materials. This also includes technical support and training. C.M. has been involved in Cathodic Protection Rectifier design and manufacturing for over 26 years and has facilitated “Rectifier Schools” for clients, NACE Sections, AUCSC (17 yrs.), and industry personnel for over 20 years.
