The NACE International Research Committee is again sponsoring its annual Student Poster Session during CORROSION 2009 Conference & Expo, March 22 – 26, 2009, in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Students are invited to prepare and submit posters for display.

  • Students (undergraduate, graduate or post doctorate) can present completed research, research in progress, or even planned research. The posters will be judged on technical content, use of scientific method, potential impact on the corrosion community, novelty of approach, and the esthetic quality of the poster and the verbal presentation.
  • Student attendance is required at the conference to participate.
  • Abstracts must be 300 – 400 words in length, single-space, and contain no photos, graphs or figures.
  • There can only be one student per poster. Students should acknowledge the assistance of their advisor and any fellow students under “acknowledgments.”
  • All entrants will be notified by January 19th as to whether or not their abstracts have been accepted for presentation at the NACE International Corrosion 2009 Conference & Expo. Each student can submit their poster in any of the three categories: Corrosion Science, Corrosion Engineering or Innovative Application of Corrosion Technologies.
